Just a quick note to confirm the completion of kitchen installation.
We would both like to thank you for your professionalism, guidance and expertise in helping us install a kitchen which we believe will last us for many years.
Although installing a new kitchen is perhaps  the most difficult room in an household to change, we both felt confident after the detail you had provided to us during the quotation that as long as we chose the correct units for us the completed installation would be good!
Fortunately we did our part 😀 and you certainly did yours .
Many thanks

Ron & Chris Newton,

Changing Kitchens has changed a working space from merely functional to inspired.

Thank you Trevor for bringing an idea to life.

Vivienne Dance,

We bought a run down old farm and 12 months ago we took the step to have the kitchen done.  To say our kitchen was awful is a huge understatement, it had last been done in the 60's or 70's, the floor tiles once had a pattern, but it was long since worn off and the ceiling had wooden boat type panelling that Phil had made me promise not to poke at it in case it fell down on us..... so we called Trevor in to get his thoughts.

As a photographer and an engineer I accept that we are possibly not the easiest people to work with, but Trevor absolutely put us at ease, the kitchen is such an important room and needs to be absolutely right.  The design he came back with amazed us both, the chaps that fitted the kitchen for us were so neat, tidy and polite we couldn't believe it, to the point where we have used them for more work since then too.  From planning, through to installation we were genuinely really pleased, the attention to detail with Trevor's design for us worked wonderfully.

Everybody that has been in our kitchen since can't believe what he has achieved with the space, as the kitchen isn't a big room.  The other thing that everybody says is how fabulous it is - I'm so impressed with what Trevor has done, I recommend him to everybody who says they need a kitchen.

I have a breakfast bar that I never thought would fit in our kitchen and a bin that's hidden away,  I have corner cupboards that I can easily access and a wonderful quartz worktop with copper bits in it that I love so much.  I cannot speak highly enough of Trevor Hatt and his team.  Even to the point that when our integral fridge freezer broke down after the 12 month warranty was up and they wouldn't help us, Trevor phoned up Hotpoint and organised them to take the faulty one away and a brand new one - with full warranty to be fitted.

I don't know where else we could get such personal and professional service.  To have a happy engineer husband also means that it's and excellent kitchen.

Thank you so much for our fabulous kitchen - and to be able to cook Christmas lunch for 12 people with such ease because the layout works so well means the world.  Thank you,  Thank you, Thank you.

(Very Happy Customers)

Alex and Phil Pargeter,

From the outset, designing this kitchen was not straightforward.  It is a shared space with many groups from different age groups; Guides, Brownies, Slimming World, dance groups, elderly groups, children’s groups and birthday parties, to name just a few.
The design was further complicated by the use of the kitchen by Café Chad, two mornings a week. This community café provides affordable food and drinks in a safe space for people from the local community who may be lonely or isolated.
The kitchen, when used by the café is classed as a commercial kitchen which requires us to comply with food safety legislation that, in turn, demands specific requirements.
Despite these issues, Trevor worked patiently with us, using his experience and expertise to advise and guide us to a very practical solution, which evolved over about 12 months.  He arranged the electricians and kitchen fitters and plasterer, but allowed us to purchase the various kitchen appliances from our own sources and for us to work with our own floor fitter.
A time-line for the work was drawn up. We stripped the kitchen ourselves, saving some money, and then the project proceeded more or less as planned, with all the various trades’ people turning up on time. The electricians took a little longer than expected, but due to some slack in the time line, this was not a major problem.  The project was completed on time and the kitchen was installed competently and expertly.  All the work men were polite and helpful and did their very best to fit in with our wishes.
We are very pleased with the result. The new wider hatch has made a big difference. The worktops and units are very robust and attractive. It meets all of our requirements; from the boiling water tap to the dishwasher; it is accessible to all of the diverse groups of people that will use it, making it a real community asset. All the users of the kitchen have been very pleased and complimentary about the new kitchen.
